Operation Attempt to Organize

With the start of a new year comes all new things. New Goals. New Planners/Calendars. New journals. New Year. New Start.

I started the year with the mindset to get more organized. With our move, elevator install construction, followed by the holiday season I felt like things were everywhere and going in all directions.

I am a planner. A pen and paper kind of girl. I finally set down and watched a webinar I had paid for back in August (see things were crazy!) on making my own printables. I have found many different ones that I thought would make life a little easier but none that completely filled all my needs and wants.

After watching the webinar I started to make my first of I am sure many different printables that will help life get a little more organized and pulled together. I might eventually share some of those with you.

Another thing I did, after seeing my sister's new planner, I went out and bought my own Happy Planner at hobby lobby. I'm hoping to keep this planner going all year long. I tend to get new planners, fill them out well for a little while, then move on to the next one after not using a planner for a couple of months.

The happy planner also has stickers you can use to fill in the planner. In a way my planner is half way scrapbooked if that even makes sense. I am using the "to do" stickers and the "appointment" stickers but I am also adding my own twist to keep up with life.

One way is adding extra stickers along the way... Note the birthday stickers!

New printables, new planner, and hopefully a more organized pulled together year is in my future as I attempt to organize things around me to make sense of the craziness.
